Slovenia - Day 2 - Zaga - Kobarid
This is the route we biked today
We were happy to wake up with no rain and were able to get started at 08:30 as well. Today was the same story as yesterday: a big climb at the start. The climb yesterday was tough but this one was relentless. There were no easy parts and it was a constant 10%+ climb all the way up.

Cycled 3km, climbed 216m, currently at 557m high.
At 11:30 we reached the top and I was pretty exhausted (evidence below 😂). We had lunch at the top and watched some paragliders start on top of the mountain.

After this we did a descent which had beautiful views but was quite rocky at the start. Everything went well except some sore hands and legs 😊

After this we hit the valley and wanted to stop somewhere to get a coffee but nothing popped up so we just cycled on. The result was we arrived at Kobarid at 14:00.

The early end means i’ll be able to get some rest because tomorrow is going to be interesting.
